For Current and Former Sex Workers Only
Sunday May 28th, 2017
North Oakland location TBA 3 days before event, please check back!
Welcome to Whore’s Bath, the closing night party of the SF Bay Area Sex Worker Film and Art Festival 2017. This is one of our only (current or former) sex worker only spaces, and this year will involve a sauna, healers, workshops, a group shower and spa food.
Whore’s Bath is a spa and healing event where sex workers from all of our communities can be pampered, pamper each other, hang out in a relaxed environment, be nourished, and give each other what we are so often giving everyone else. Whore’s Bath will feature sex worker practitioners from various healing modalities such as herbal treatments, workshops, massage, energy work, acupuncture, tarot, sound healing, food, and more.
“Whores’ Bath” was created by Erica Elena as a closing party of the SF Sex Worker Fest in 2011, and has been replicated nationally and internationally. We are working towards becoming a collective of sex workers creating more space for our communities to heal, including nature based healing and working towards making holistic healing modalities more accessible to those that need it most.
Please be respectful of what we are trying to create and only invite self identifying current and former sex industry workers to the spa day.
This will be taking place in North Oakland, and we will be announcing the location here a few days before the event.
IF YOU ARE A SEX WORKER HEALER, WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR PRACTITIONERS!!** (OR WORKSHOP PRESENTERS)
